JACKY HUNT-BROERSMA (she/her)
Ultrarunner / Gilbert, AZ
Jacky Hunt-Broersma is an adaptive athlete and started my running 6 years ago. She lost her leg to cancer. She loves pushing the limits of what is possible on a prosthetic leg and is passionate about seeing more athletes like herself on the trails and at ultramarathons. Jacky believes we are capable of so much more than we think. She was the first amputee to run a 100 miles in under 24 hours on a treadmill, first amputee to run TransRockies and ran a 104 marathons in a 104 days, setting a new world record for most consecutive marathons.
Favorite Race/ Trail/ Route: Favorite race is Umstead 100 miler.
